LAZISE

Famous and picturesque lakeside centre, Lazise is much loved by visitors for the cozy and romantic atmosphere of its small historic centre.

Starting from the medieval walls with the three historic access gates still well preserved, we will observe the imposing Scaliger castle which still represents a remarkable testimony of the past. Once we arrive at the main square with a Venetian setting, we will be able to enjoy a unique view of the crystal clear waters of the lake which, on clear days, make our gaze range as far as the peninsula of Sirmione and the entire opposite shore.

The same panorama can be found right in front of the lake where, still with impressive dimensions, we will observe one of the best preserved buildings of the Venetian era: the Venetian Dogana, now used as a venue for events. Continuing to stroll through the narrow streets of the centre, you will be able to breathe the cozy and intimate atmosphere created by a rare combination of ancient and modern history.

LAZISE AT SUNSET

We will start the visit from the famous Scaliger walls, discovering the small and beloved Lazise in all its historic and characteristic atmosphere, enveloped in the light of the sunset. Walking along the ancient village, the imposing Scaliger castle will open up before us, still today a symbol of a glorious past; although it is private and cannot be visited, it offers itself to our eyes as a unique image of a time that is now very distant. Once we arrive at the main square in a Venetian setting, we will be able to enjoy a sensational view of the crystal clear waters of the lake which, at this very moment of the day, are kissed by the last rays of the sun.

Reaching the lakefront, we will observe the imposing dimensions of the best preserved Venetian building in the area, namely the Venetian Dogana, now used as a venue for events. Continuing to stroll through the narrow streets of the centre, you will be able to breathe the cozy and intimate atmosphere created by a rare combination of ancient and modern history.
